Ismael Ramirez

Carbon Neutrality Initiative Student Research Fellow

Ismael Ramirez is a UC Carbon Neutrality Initiative Research Fellow. His research project focuses on biomethane production from pre-consumer food waste from University Centers. The goal of his project is to produce a feasibility analysis for biomethane production on campus using pre-and post-consumer waste.

Ismael is a garden steward at UC San Diego's Roger's Community Garden, a student run garden that provides a space for students to learn about organic agricultural practices and conduct their own research. Contact Ismael if you need a space to grow your own food or want to start your own project.
