Alexander Han

Solar Chill/Energy Projects Intern

Alex Han is a second-year Electrical Engineering student intern at the Sustainability Programs Office. He previously managed the Green Revolving Fund but now leads and manages energy efficiency/lighting projects with the goal of creating projects that engage students in making our campus greener and saving money. These projects aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and operational costs by replacing old light fixtures and lamps with cooler, longer-lasting, and more efficient lightbulbs.

Besides family and friends, Alex values health, the environment and music and enjoys swimming, playing tennis, going camping, and jamming on the guitar. He is always on the lookout for new and different foods to try. Sadly, being a broke college student, options in La Jolla are quite limited. If you have recommendations for affordable and delicious restaurants, please send them to goodfoodforalexplease@gmail.com (just kidding)!

If you have questions or would like to get involved in these energy efficiency projects, please email Alex.
