Serena Lin

Green Office Project Management Intern

Serena is the Project Management Intern leading the Green Office Certification (GOC) Program. She is responsible for helping to promote sustainable practices and resource conservation throughout the campus community.

Serena and her fellow student volunteers work with campus office staff to identify areas and opportunities where certain sustainable practices can be implemented or improved. Offices are encouraged to engage in more sustainable practices with the incentive of earning points towards higher office certification levels.

Serena is a fourth-year student from Diamond Bar, California, with a major in Environmental Policy and a minor in Urban Studies and Planning. She has been involved with the GOC Program since Spring 2017. Serena has a passion for sustainability and is specifically interested in the ways that innovative city plans can improve both the sustainability and livability of urban areas.

Outside the GOC Program, Serena assists with outreach events for the local environmental non-profit, I Love a Clean San Diego, and spends her spare time playing video games, watching her favorite TV shows and going out to eat.
