Bryant Jew

Project Management Intern, Renewable Energy Education Program

Bryant Jew is a third-year majoring in Marine Biology, and minoring in Education Studies (science track). He is currently the project management intern for a renewable energy education program focused on educating students, faculty and staff about individual actions they can take to support, and even purchase, renewable energy. Part of this program is a partnership with Arcadia Power, which helps consumers purchase renewable energy by using Renewable Energy Certificates.

Bryant is a former member of the Student Sustainability Collective (SSC), and has previous experience working with Fossil Free UC, a UC-wide campaign to divest from fossil fuels. He also helped drive the SSC’s collaboration with the Sierra Club to bring Community Choice Energy to San Diego. In addition, Bryant is a Biology Department teaching assistant.

In his free time, Bryant enjoys woodworking, mountain biking, hiking and anything related to the outdoors, especially the ocean.
